ITU and Republic of Korea sign Host Country Agreement for 2014 Plenipotentiary Conference

Geneva, 21 October 2013 – ITU and the Government of the Republic of Korea have signed the host country agreement for the ITU Plenipotentiary Conference 2014 (#Plenipot14), which will take place in the port city of Busan from Monday, 20 October to Friday, 7 November 2014.

The Plenipotentiary Conference is the top policy-making body of ITU, the UN agency for ICTs which oversees global radio spectrum allocation, the creation of global technical standards for ICT networks and services, and efforts to promote digital inclusion in under-served communities.
